The Ideal 33-866 Test, Tone and Trace Kit includes the 33-856 VDV Multimedia Cable Tester and 62-164 Pro Amplifier Probe. VDV cable tester tests for opens, shorts, miswires, reversals or split pairs. It accommodates RJ-11, RJ-45 and F-style coax connectors. Cable tester allows you to verify wiring integrity and assure proper terminations. Tester is used with the included Pro Amplifier Tone Probe to expand testing capabilities to include wire tracing and identification on coax, twisted pair and telephone cables.
