The IDEAL R158003 VDV II PRO RJ45 and Coax Cable Tester pinpoints cabling faults, identifies service issues and verifies voice, data and video wiring requirements in both residential and commercial environments. It tests coax & UTP/STP (RJ45) CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, CAT7 wiring for continuity, opens, shorts, miswire, split pair, reversals, and crossover cables. It features a tone generator, voltage protection, 2.9" display, backlight, hub blink, cables & adapters. Additionally, this RJ45 and Coax Cable Tester offers TDR length testing and troubleshooting, PoE detection with voltage information, phone service detection (PBX, ISDN), Ethernet detection with network rate and duplex information.
The R158003 VDV II PRO from IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC. includes the tester, dual port remote unit, coax remote unit, battery, user guide, wallet wiring card, and a carry case. The 9V alkaline battery provides 20 hours of continuous use.
